  25. Yes, its quite easy, depending on what system you are copying these to.
  26. I believe that a program called "sox" will convert these files, and is 
  27. available as source, compilable on any platform.

  29. I use Linux, and the Lsox package available on sunsite.  All I ahve to do 
  30. is type
  31. sox quack quack.au
  32. and it will make an .au file that I can play.
  33. sox quack quack.wav
  34. makes a .wav file.

  36. If you use DOS or OS/2, I think you can archie for something called sox 
  37. to do the same thing...
