  26. Yes, its quite easy, depending on what system you are copying these to.
  27. I believe that a program called "sox" will convert these files, and is 
  28. available as source, compilable on any platform.

  30. I use Linux, and the Lsox package available on sunsite.  All I ahve to do 
  31. is type
  32. sox quack quack.au
  33. and it will make an .au file that I can play.
  34. sox quack quack.wav
  35. makes a .wav file.

  37. If you use DOS or OS/2, I think you can archie for something called sox 
  38. to do the same thing...
