  12.   I run the executor mailing list for the folks at ARDI.  I do this as a  
  13. favor to them, not as an employee.  Recently, there has been a spate of  
  14. people making subscription and deletion requests to the wrong address.   
  15. For those of you who don't know or have forgotten how to get added or  
  16. removed from the executor list I'm send the following help message.

  22. All routine administrative requests (including subscriptions and
  23. unsubscriptions) concerning this mailing list are handled by an
  24. automated server.  Please read this message carefully to find the
  25. information relevant to you.

  27. SUBSCRIBING

  30. To subscribe to executor, send the following in the body (not
  31. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  33.         subscribe executor
  34.  
  35. This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to
  36. the executor list.

  38. If you wish to subscribe another address instead (such as a local
  39. redistribution list), you can use a command of the form:

  41.         subscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net

  43. UNSUBSCRIBING

  46. To unsubscribe from executor, send the following in the body (not
  47. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  51. This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message.
  52. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send
  53. a command of the following form instead:

  55.         unsubscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net

  57. If you don't know what address you are subscribed with, you can send
  58. the following command to see who else is on the list (assuming that
  59. information isn't designated "private" by the owner of the list)

  63. If you want to search non-privte lists at this server, you can do that
  64. by sending a command like:

  66.         which string

  68. This will return a list of all entries on all lists that contain "string".
