  10.   I run the executor mailing list for the folks at ARDI.  I do this as a  
  11. favor to them, not as an employee.  Recently, there has been a spate of  
  12. people making subscription and deletion requests to the wrong address.   
  13. For those of you who don't know or have forgotten how to get added or  
  14. removed from the executor list I'm send the following help message.

  20. All routine administrative requests (including subscriptions and
  21. unsubscriptions) concerning this mailing list are handled by an
  22. automated server.  Please read this message carefully to find the
  23. information relevant to you.

  25. SUBSCRIBING

  28. To subscribe to executor, send the following in the body (not
  29. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  31.         subscribe executor
  32.  
  33. This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to
  34. the executor list.

  36. If you wish to subscribe another address instead (such as a local
  37. redistribution list), you can use a command of the form:

  39.         subscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net

  41. UNSUBSCRIBING

  44. To unsubscribe from executor, send the following in the body (not
  45. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  47.         unsubscribe executor

  49. This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message.
  50. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send
  51. a command of the following form instead:

  53.         unsubscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net

  55. If you don't know what address you are subscribed with, you can send
  56. the following command to see who else is on the list (assuming that
  57. information isn't designated "private" by the owner of the list)

  61. If you want to search non-privte lists at this server, you can do that
  62. by sending a command like:

  64.         which string
  65.  
  66. This will return a list of all entries on all lists that contain "string".
