  14.   I run the executor mailing list for the folks at ARDI.  I do this as a  
  15. favor to them, not as an employee.  Recently, there has been a spate of  
  16. people making subscription and deletion requests to the wrong address.   
  17. For those of you who don't know or have forgotten how to get added or  
  18. removed from the executor list I'm send the following help message.

  24. All routine administrative requests (including subscriptions and
  25. unsubscriptions) concerning this mailing list are handled by an
  26. automated server.  Please read this message carefully to find the
  27. information relevant to you.

  29. SUBSCRIBING
  30. ===========

  32. To subscribe to executor, send the following in the body (not
  33. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":
  34.  
  35.         subscribe executor
  36.  
  37. This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to
  38. the executor list.

  40. If you wish to subscribe another address instead (such as a local
  41. redistribution list), you can use a command of the form:
  42.  
  43.         subscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net
  44.  
  45. UNSUBSCRIBING
  46. =============
  47.  
  48. To unsubscribe from executor, send the following in the body (not
  49. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  51.         unsubscribe executor
  52.  
  53. This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message.
  54. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send
  55. a command of the following form instead:

  57.         unsubscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net
  58.  
  59. If you don't know what address you are subscribed with, you can send
  60. the following command to see who else is on the list (assuming that
  61. information isn't designated "private" by the owner of the list)

  63.         who executor
  64.  
  65. If you want to search non-privte lists at this server, you can do that
  66. by sending a command like:

  68.         which string
  69.  
  70. This will return a list of all entries on all lists that contain "string".

  75. To find out more about the automated server and the commands it
  76. understands, send the following command to "majordomo@nacm.com":
