  15.   I run the executor mailing list for the folks at ARDI.  I do this as a  
  16. favor to them, not as an employee.  Recently, there has been a spate of  
  17. people making subscription and deletion requests to the wrong address.   
  18. For those of you who don't know or have forgotten how to get added or  
  19. removed from the executor list I'm send the following help message.

  25. All routine administrative requests (including subscriptions and
  26. unsubscriptions) concerning this mailing list are handled by an
  27. automated server.  Please read this message carefully to find the
  28. information relevant to you.

  30. SUBSCRIBING

  33. To subscribe to executor, send the following in the body (not
  34. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  36.         subscribe executor
  37.  
  38. This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to
  39. the executor list.

  41. If you wish to subscribe another address instead (such as a local
  42. redistribution list), you can use a command of the form:

  44.         subscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net

  46. UNSUBSCRIBING
  47. =============

  49. To unsubscribe from executor, send the following in the body (not
  50. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  52.         unsubscribe executor

  54. This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message.
  55. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send
  56. a command of the following form instead:

  58.         unsubscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net

  60. If you don't know what address you are subscribed with, you can send
  61. the following command to see who else is on the list (assuming that
  62. information isn't designated "private" by the owner of the list)

  66. If you want to search non-privte lists at this server, you can do that
  67. by sending a command like:

  69.         which string
  70.  
  71. This will return a list of all entries on all lists that contain "string".
