- Netmail-option of BFF.
-
- This doc-file can be of importance for you when you have :
-
- -> a FidoNet-mailer
-
- -> in one in your AKA's the zones 1, 2, 15 (DigitalNet) or
- 64 (AlarmNet) as a nodenumber or pointnumber.
-
- -> configured the file NETMAIL.BFF with one of the AKA's
- mentioned above.
-
-
- ALSO READ THE FILE HACKS.DOC IF YOU LIKE TO.
-
-
- In future versions the netmail-option will be of more importance
- of BFF. I describe you what will happen when you use the netmail-
- option for the first time:
-
- - Bad File Finder will look for a file named personal.bff. This
- file will be used more in future versions.
-
- - When it has found this file it will do nothing.
-
- - When it hasn't found this file, it will create a netmail-
- message that will be addressed to me. You can read this message.
-
- - This message will arrive on my system and will then be automa-
- tically answered by a robot. Your name and nodenumber will be
- listed on my system.
-
- - What I want to achieve with this is that :
-
- -> I like to know who uses BFF.
- -> I want to inform you about future versions of BFF and the
- hacklist.
- -> Maybe you are interested in a hack-squad.
-
- What I do NOT want to achieve with this is that you are going to
- think that I try to make money of BFF. NO, BAD FILE FINDER WILL
- AND STAY ALWAYS BE FREEWARE WITH ONE CONDITION, AND THAT IS THAT
- YOU USE IT IN A NON-COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENT.
-
- When you do not agree with this, you can delete the netmail and
- keep the file personal.bff in your directory. Netmail-message
- will then not be created anymore.
