  1. Netmail-option of BFF.
  2.  
  3. This doc-file can be of importance for you when you have :
  4.  
  5. -> a FidoNet-mailer
  6.  
  7. -> in one in your AKA's the zones 1, 2, 15 (DigitalNet) or 
  8.    64 (AlarmNet) as a nodenumber or pointnumber.
  9.  
  10. -> configured the file NETMAIL.BFF with one of the AKA's 
  11.    mentioned above.

  14. ALSO READ THE FILE HACKS.DOC IF YOU LIKE TO.

  17. In future versions the netmail-option will be of more importance
  18. of BFF. I describe you what will happen when you use the netmail-
  19. option for the first time:

  21. - Bad File Finder will look for a file named personal.bff. This
  22. file will be used more in future versions.
  23.  
  24. - When it has found this file it will do nothing.
  25.  
  26. - When it hasn't found this file, it will create a netmail-
  27. message that will be addressed to me. You can read this message.

  29. - This message will arrive on my system and will then be automa-
  30. tically answered by a robot. Your name and nodenumber will be
  31. listed on my system.

  33. - What I want to achieve with this is that :

  35. -> I like to know who uses BFF.
  36. -> I want to inform you about future versions of BFF and the      
  37.    hacklist.
  38. -> Maybe you are interested in a hack-squad.

  40. What I do NOT want to achieve with this is that you are going to
  41. think that I try to make money of BFF. NO, BAD FILE FINDER WILL
  42. AND STAY ALWAYS BE FREEWARE WITH ONE CONDITION, AND THAT IS THAT
  43. YOU USE IT IN A NON-COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENT.

  45. When you do not agree with this, you can delete the netmail and
  46. keep the file personal.bff in your directory. Netmail-message
  47. will then not be created anymore.
