- SETUP allows you to configure all plotting parameters
- while in the CADKEY program.
-
- Indicate the parameter you want to change by choosing from
- the following options:
-
- PAPER - to set the size of the plotter paper you want to
- use in American measurements, metric measurements, or your
- own personal paper size in inches by entering x and y
- values.
-
- OFFSETS - to set x and y offset values to compensate if
- your plotter adds a small offset value of its own. If
- automatic centering is not used, these offset values are
- calculated from the lower left corner of the plotter.
-
- ROTATION - to set a plot rotation angle in degrees. This
- value determines how CADKEY plots your drawing in respect
- to its position in the plot file.
-
- PLT PORT (Output Plot Port) - to set the destination of
- your file when plotting. The output port can be a serial
- port, a parallel port, or filename.
-
- PENS - to set the pen width, pen speed, and pen sorting.
-
- PLOTTER - to indicate the language to transcribe your file
- into according to the type of plotter you have.
-
- CURV TOL - to assign a factor equal to or greater than 1.0
- for curve tolerance. A lower factor creates smoother
- curves, but takes longer to plot. This value, in device
- units, matches the length of the lines that the plotter
- uses when plotting the given curve.
-
- CLIP LIM - to match the soft clip limits for your plotter.
- The soft clip limits define the maximum plotting area.
- Check your plotter manual for more information on clipping
- limits.
-
- DONE - to indicate that you have set all of the plotter
- parameters. You are returned to the PLOT menu where you
- can choose the PLOT option to send the assigned entities
- to the indicated plotting device.
