- KEY IN allows you to enter a plotting scale value,
- rotation angle, and x, y offset values.
-
- Remember that only the entities displayed on the screen
- are plotted. The default values for this option (e.g.,
- plotter type, baud rate, etc.) are those assigned to the
- CONFIG program.
-
- Enter a scale value for plotting and press <Enter>. The
- default scale factor found in parentheses is calculated
- from the plot paper size specified in the CONFIG program
- and the current part scale (or number of units in the
- drawing window).
-
- Enter a rotation angle (in degrees) and press <Enter>.
-
- Enter x and y offset values for placing the part on the
- paper. The x and y offset values are those assigned in the
- CONFIG program. The 0,0 offset values automatically centers
- the plot on the plotting paper.
-
- Indicate a plotting method by choosing from the following
- options:
-
- PEN # - to plot according to the pen number attribute
- assigned to each entity during part creation. The pen
- number attribute in the system has a maximum value of 8.
-
- COLOR - to plot according to the color assigned to each
- entity during part creation. Because the color attribute in
- the system ranges from 1 to 15, it is possible to control
- up to 15 pens on the plotter.
-
- Select the entities for plotting using the Selection Menu.
-
- Press <Enter> to begin plotting.
-
- To terminate plotting at any time press the <ESC> key.
- Actual plotting terminates as soon as the plotter's buffer
- is empty, which varies from plotter to plotter.
