  1. LABEL creates tags with leaders and arrows for your
  2. drawing. You can create up to five arrowhead positions for
  3. each label. Use UNDO, (Alt)-(I), to remove the last label
  4. you created before you start a new one.
  5.  
  6. If you create a label in Model Mode, and then enter 
  7. Drawing Layout Mode, the label will not appear. Do
  8. detailing in Drawing Layout Mode.
  9.  
  10. Type the number of arrowheads for the label, or press 
  11. <Enter> to accept the default. CADKEY's on-line text 
  12. editor appears. 
  13.  
  14. Type the label text. Labels can be up to 80 characters
  15. long. If you try to create a label over 80 characters,
  16. CADKEY crops the text from the right.
  17.  
  18. You can use any of the following characters to create your
  19. label:
  20.  
  21.         ! @ # $ % ^ & o () + - = {} [] ~'":;?/>.<,|\ 0-9,
  22.         A-Z, a-z, ▒,  , ╞, (Spacebar),and <Enter>

  24. Choose SAVE TX to save the text or press <Enter> twice.

  26. Choose an option from the Position Menu to indicate where
  27. you want to place the text. The text appears on-screen.
  28. CADKEY positions the text according to the note placement
  29. alignment set in DETAIL, SET, TEXT, NOT PLC.

  31. Cursor indicate a position for the label's leader on the
  32. left or right side of the text.

  34. Once you define a side, a rubberband line appears.

  36. Choose an option from the Position Menu to indicate the
  37. arrowhead position. An arrow appears in the direction you
  38. specified.

  40. Repeat this step depending on the number of arrowheads set
  41. in Step 1.

  43. The current note height setting determines the length of
  44. the first leader line and arrowhead size. CADKEY uses the 
  45. current level and color number settings when it creates 
  46. the label.
