  1. FIRST allows you to divide the first entity (excluding
  2. circles) selected into two separate entities, based on
  3. intersections with other entities. The current attribute
  4. values are assigned to one or two of the entities.

  6. Select an intersecting entity, near the intersection of 
  7. the desired break. The original entity is redrawn as two
  8. entities. The first portion of the selected entity (on the
  9. side it was selected) is redrawn up to the intersection
  10. point with the original attributes assigned. The second
  11. portion of the entity is created as a separate entity, 
  12. with current attribute settings.
