  1. 2 CURVE allows you to create a spline mesh that is defined
  2. by a selected generator and director curve. The mesh
  3. approximates the swept surface that is formed by moving
  4. (sweeping) the generator curve along the director curve.

  6. Define the sweep of the profile by choosing from the
  7. following options:

  10. TRANSL (translate) - to maintain the generator curve's
  11. orientation relative to the world coordinate frame as the
  12. generator curve is moved along the director curve.
  13.  
  14. ROTATE - to maintain the generator curve's orientation to
  15. the director curve as the generator curve is moved along 
  16. the director curve.

  19. Select the line, arc, conic, or spline to be used as the
  20. generator curve.

  22. Enter the number of segments that the generator curve is
  23. to be broken into.

  25. Select the line, arc, conic, or spline to be used as the
  26. director curve, near the end from which you want to start
  27. the sweep of the generator curve.

  29. Enter the number of segments that the director curve is to
  30. be broken into.

  32. A temporary mesh is displayed, along with a NO/YES menu. 
  33. If the curves are connected correctly, choose YES. If the
  34. curves are not connected correctly, choose NO and select
  35. another generator curve.

  37. Indicate whether to group the entities. Choose NO to
  38. continue without grouping. Choose YES to create a group,
  39. and enter a group name.

  41. The mesh is created.
