  1. 3 CURVE allows you to create a spline mesh that is defined
  2. by either two generator curves and a director curve, or by
  3. one generator curve and two director curves. The mesh
  4. approximates the blending of the two, two-curve surfaces.
  5.  
  6. Define the sweep of the profile by choosing from the
  7. following options:
  8.  
  9.  
  10. TRANSL   (translate) - to maintain the generator curve's
  11.          orientation relative to the world coordinate 
  12.          frame as the generator curve is moved along 
  13.          the director curve.
  14.  
  15. ROTATE - to maintain the generator curve's orientation to 
  16.          the director curve as the generator curve is 
  17.          moved along the director curve.
  18.

  20. Select the line, arc, conic, or spline to be used as the
  21. first generator curve.
  22.  
  23. Select the line, arc, conic, or spline to be used as the
  24. second generator curve (if you want to select two director
  25. curves rather than two generator curves, press <Enter>).

  27. Enter the number of segments that the generator curve(s) 
  28. are to be broken into.

  30. If you are using two generator curves, select the line, 
  31. arc, conic, or spline to be used as a director curve. If 
  32. you are using one generator curve, select the two lines,
  33. arcs, conics, or splines to be used as the two director
  34. curves.

  36. Enter the number of segments that the director curve(s) 
  37. are to be broken into.
  38.  
  39. A temporary mesh is displayed, along with a NO/YES menu. 
  40. If the curves are connected correctly, choose YES. If the
  41. curves are not connected correctly, choose NO and select
  42. another generator curve.
  43.  
  44. Indicate whether to group the entities. Choose NO to
  45. continue without grouping. Choose YES to create a group,
  46. and enter a group name.

  48. The mesh is created.
  49.
