  1. DISTNCE allows you to key-in the desired length of the
  2. segments (i.e., the distance between the created points).
  3.  
  4. The endpoint closest to the selection point is always the
  5. first point created on the specified curve. If the length 
  6. of the curve is not an exact multiple of the specified
  7. distance, a point is not created at the other endpoint of
  8. the curve.
  9.  
  10. The specified distance cannot be greater than the length 
  11. of the selected curve or less than .00005.
  12.  
  13. Enter the desired distance and press <Enter>, or press
  14. <Enter> to accept the default distance of 1.00.
  15.  
  16. Indicate whether or not you want to group the points.
  17. Choose NO to continue without grouping. Choose YES to 
  18. create a group, and enter a group name.
  19.  
  20. Select the curve near the desired start point.
  21.  
  22. If the specified distance is greater than the length of 
  23. the curve or less than .00005, an error message is 
  24. displayed. You are prompted to press <Enter> and to enter 
  25. a new distance.

  27. If the specified distance is valid, the points are 
  28. created automatically.
