- DISTNCE allows you to key-in the desired length of the
- segments (i.e., the distance between the created points).
-
- The endpoint closest to the selection point is always the
- first point created on the specified curve. If the length
- of the curve is not an exact multiple of the specified
- distance, a point is not created at the other endpoint of
- the curve.
-
- The specified distance cannot be greater than the length
- of the selected curve or less than .00005.
-
- Enter the desired distance and press <Enter>, or press
- <Enter> to accept the default distance of 1.00.
-
- Indicate whether or not you want to group the points.
- Choose NO to continue without grouping. Choose YES to
- create a group, and enter a group name.
-
- Select the curve near the desired start point.
-
- If the specified distance is greater than the length of
- the curve or less than .00005, an error message is
- displayed. You are prompted to press <Enter> and to enter
- a new distance.
-
- If the specified distance is valid, the points are
- created automatically.
