  1. NUMBER allows you to key-in the desired number of segments
  2. to be created on the curve.
  3.  
  4. The number of points created is one greater than the 
  5. number of segments that you specify. Accepting the default
  6. of two segments creates three equally-spaced points on the
  7. selected curve.
  8.  
  9. Points are always created at the start and end of the
  10. selected curve. The distance between points equals the
  11. length of the curve divided by the number of segments.
  12. Enter the desired number of segments and press <Enter>, or
  13. press <Enter> to accept the default of two segments.
  14.  
  15. Indicate whether or not you want to group the points.
  16. Choose NO to continue without grouping. Choose YES to 
  17. create a group, and enter a group name.
  18.  
  19. Select the desired curve.
  20.  
  21. The points are created automatically.
