- For more information on each option, page down this file...

- 1. Change Profile Allows the user to change the current
- default settings for EZMAIL use.
- 2. Maillist Edit Allows the user to define different
- mailing lists.
- 3. View DOS Mailbox Allows the user to view/edit mailbox
- files residing on the PC.
- 4. Shell to DOS Allows the user to escape to DOS. Enter
- 'EXIT' when done to return to the EZMAIL.
- 5. EZ-Update Automatically update the EZMAIL package
- to the most current version.

- CHANGE PROFILE

- If you wish to change your profile information, you may do
- so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and then the 'CHANGE
- PROFILE' option. Enter the user profile information in the
- profile window, or the <ESC> key to leave the profile with
- no changes. The first and last names are your own name.
- The userid is your DMINS system login. The system name is
- your home DMINS system. The editor will be used by the 'SEND'
- menu, with PED being the default. The viewer will be the
- program to view all your mail in the 'RECEIVE' menu, with
- Vbrowse being the default. After all the information is
- entered, your password will be checked against your userid.
- Only a valid password will be allowed to send and receive
- mail.

- MAILLIST EDIT

- If you wish to edit your mailing list information, you may
- do so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and then the 'MAILING
- LIST' option. The editor of your choice will be loaded (PED
- is the default) and the mailing list will be entered. Enter
- each users DMINS alias on a seperate line, and press the <ESC>
- key to save. A userid may be entered, but the mail will not
- be forwarded to that user's home system by the DMINS system
- doing the mailing. The default mailing list file is
- 'EZMAIL.LST', however you may enter a PC mailing list file of
- your own choice by typing in the file name or a '?' to get a
- directory listing.

- VIEW DOS MAILBOX

- If you wish to view/edit your PC Mailbox file(s) residing on
- your PC, you may do so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and
- then the 'VIEW DOS MAILBOX' option. The viewer of your
- choice will load the PC Mailbox file (Vbrowse is the default)
- for viewing or editing. The default PC Mailbox file is
- 'EZMAIL.BOX', however, you may enter another PC Mailbox file
- of your choice by typing in the file name or a '?' to get a
- directory listing.

- SHELL TO DOS
-
- If you wish to shell to DOS, you may do so by selecting the
- 'OPTIONS' menu and then the 'SHELL TO DOS' option. EZMAIL
- will temporarily change the DOS shell prompt so that you
- will know to type 'EXIT' in order to return to EZMAIL'.
- Please remember to exit back to the EZMAIL program after
- finishing with DOS.

- EZ-UPDATE

- If you wish to have the most recent version of the EZMAIL
- package, you may do so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and
- then the 'EZ-UPDATE' option. EZMAIL will run the EZUPDATE
- program and inform you of any files that have been updated.
