  2.                             HOW TO CHANGE OPTIONS

  4.        For more information on each option, page down this file...

  6.        1.  Change Profile    Allows the user to change the current
  7.                              default settings for EZMAIL use.
  8.        2.  Maillist Edit     Allows the user to define different
  9.                              mailing lists.
  10.        3.  View DOS Mailbox  Allows the user to view/edit mailbox
  11.                              files residing on the PC.
  12.        4.  Shell to DOS      Allows the user to escape to DOS.  Enter
  13.                              'EXIT' when done to return to the EZMAIL.
  14.        5.  EZ-Update         Automatically update the EZMAIL package
  15.                              to the most current version.

  20.                                CHANGE PROFILE
  21.  
  22.         If you wish to change your profile information, you may do
  23.         so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and then the 'CHANGE
  24.         PROFILE' option.  Enter the user profile information in the
  25.         profile window, or the <ESC> key to leave the profile with
  26.         no changes.  The first and last names are your own name.
  27.         The userid is your DMINS system login.  The system name is
  28.         your home DMINS system.  The editor will be used by the 'SEND'
  29.         menu, with PED being the default.  The viewer will be the
  30.         program to view all your mail in the 'RECEIVE' menu, with
  31.         Vbrowse being the default.  After all the information is
  32.         entered, your password will be checked against your userid.
  33.         Only a valid password will be allowed to send and receive
  34.         mail.

  38.                               MAILLIST EDIT
  39.  
  40.         If you wish to edit your mailing list information, you may
  41.         do so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and then the 'MAILING
  42.         LIST' option.  The editor of your choice will be loaded (PED
  43.         is the default) and the mailing list will be entered.  Enter
  44.         each users DMINS alias on a seperate line, and press the <ESC>
  45.         key to save.  A userid may be entered, but the mail will not
  46.         be forwarded to that user's home system by the DMINS system
  47.         doing the mailing.  The default mailing list file is
  48.         'EZMAIL.LST', however you may enter a PC mailing list file of
  49.         your own choice by typing in the file name or a '?' to get a
  50.         directory listing.

  56.                              VIEW DOS MAILBOX

  58.         If you wish to view/edit your PC Mailbox file(s) residing on
  59.         your PC, you may do so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and
  60.         then the 'VIEW DOS MAILBOX' option.  The viewer of your
  61.         choice will load the PC Mailbox file (Vbrowse is the default)
  62.         for viewing or editing.  The default PC Mailbox file is
  63.         'EZMAIL.BOX', however, you may enter another PC Mailbox file
  64.         of your choice by typing in the file name or a '?' to get a
  65.         directory listing.

  74.                               SHELL TO DOS
  75.  
  76.         If you wish to shell to DOS, you may do so by selecting the
  77.         'OPTIONS' menu and then the 'SHELL TO DOS' option.  EZMAIL
  78.         will temporarily change the DOS shell prompt so that you
  79.         will know to type 'EXIT' in order to return to EZMAIL'.

  81.         finishing with DOS.

  83.                                 EZ-UPDATE
  84.  
  85.         If you wish to have the most recent version of the EZMAIL
  86.         package, you may do so by selecting the 'OPTIONS' menu and
  87.         then the 'EZ-UPDATE' option.  EZMAIL will run the EZUPDATE
  88.         program and inform you of any files that have been updated.
