Transcription: Weaver. Cloth called linen was made from flax. Flax is a grain. Women used a spindle to twist the fibers from the flax stem into thread. Threads were stretched across the frame of a loom. Then more thread was tied to a small piece of wood or bone called a shuttle. The shuttle was pushed over one string and under the next all the way across the loom. Slowly, the threads combined to form cloth.
