  36. followed this discussion knows that he screwed up. just
  37. about everyone who has followed this discussion knows
  38. that he knew he screwed up within a few days of doing
  39. so (if, in fact, he didn't know it when he first
  40. posted).

  42. he doesn't have a lot of choices. if he apologizes now,
  43. would he regain any of the respect of credibility he
  44. lost by not doing so in a timely manner. if he
  45. continues to stonewall, he reputation as a person of no
  46. credibility grows.
