- Weeelll.. I can tell you that the drinking age in the UK is 18 (though I could
- get served anywhere from about 16 with only occasional hitches :-) ), and on
- the Continent (that's Europe) the usual rule seems to be beer/wine/cider etc
- age 16, spirits age 18. Which seems pretty sensible to me. It would be very
- strange to go to the US and not get served in any pubs :-)
