  26. Also don't forget that the crux of astrology (sun-sign astrology) is
  27. supposed to predict certain behavioral characteristics that are dependent
  28. on the Sun being in a particular constellation at a given time of the
  29. year.  Sad to say, the astrologers have not kept up to date with the
  30. precession of the equinoxes, so saying I am a Gemini because my birthday
  31. falls during Gemini's dates in the newspaper doesn't help, since the Sun
  32. is _not_ in the constellation of Gemini then.

  34. Also, I wonder what the astrologers would do with the knowledge that in
  35. fact, during part of the year, the Sun actually is in the constellation
  36. of Ophiuchus, which isn't even on the list of signs in the daily newspaper.

  38. I'm not very well versed in the beliefs of astrology, so I don't have
  39. a feel how important this realization is compared to the other factors
  40. that influence horoscopes.
