- Hello
-
- Could someone help me figure out what did Oliver Heaviside in the appendix
- of his 1898 book "Electromagnetic theory" meant when he said,
-
- "To form any notion at all of the flux of gravitational energy, we
- must first localise the energy. In this respect it resembles the
- legendary hare in the cookery book. Whether the notion will turn out
- to be a useful one is a matter for subsequent discovery. For this,
- also, there is a well-known gastronomical analogy"
-
-
- Please reply by email. I can summarize if there is interest.
-
- Thanks in advance.
- Regards.
- Jorge
