- Back in May of 1992, my physician prescribed Omniflox (an oral antibiotic)
- for recurring infections on my right foot.
-
- About a week later, he told me to stop taking it because the FDA had just
- ordered that it be recalled, due to some "side-effects" in "some" people.
-
- Yesterday evening, I happened to watch the primetime rag "A Current Affair",
- on which people who suffered from various kinds of paralysis, allegedly
- due to this drug, were featured.
-
- What is it, specifically, that caused the FDA to recall the drug?
-
- Jim Graham
