  12. Last week I ask for suggestions from the groups in the header
  13. regarding recommendations for a stat tutor (PC based).  What follows
  14. is a compilation of replies with a harty thank you.  While most of
  15. the recommendations were for textbooks, I appreciate every reply.

  35. BTW - Text for the class is "Multivariate Data Analysis with
  36. Readings" by: Hair, Anderson, Tatham, and Black.  It's a bit wordy
  37. with no review of simple linear regression or hypothesis testing but
  38. it does have a good explaination of variable charateristics and how
  39. they effect technique choices (nice chart).  554 pages/$59.95
  40. (required).  Additionaly, the professor put together specific course
  41. notes that we are following with expanded examples and data runs.
