- A quick look at the Statistical Abstract of the United States reveals
- that in 1989, the US generated some 2.779 trillion kWh, and consumers
- bought 2.634 billion kWh, for a loss of 5.2%. I don't know if these
- figures include cogeneration or electricity imports/exports.
