- Maplin Electronics (in the UK) sell a chip which has all the features (just
- about) that you describe. You need to add a 256k byte static ram to store the
- digitised data. A project based around this chip has appeared in Electronics
- "the Maplin Magazine", and a kit of all parts including PCB is available
- from them. They give an example circuit in their catalogue anyway. I keep
- my catalogue at home, so I don't have a price ($20-$30 I guess), or their
- phone number (it was posted recently). Mail me if you would like further
- details.
-
- I am amazed the number of times people ask questions about the availability
- of parts, and the solution is available from Maplin. Has anyfrom from outside
- the UK ordered from Maplin, and if so what was their service like ?
-
- BTW - no connection - just a satified customer.
