- the ad promoted speeding. Remember that Subaru was harassed by the
- same people for the same reason (the SVX commercial - speeding tickets).
- This ad was shown during the superbowl in 1991 I believe. It was about
- this guy having a dream driving a silver Turbo Z, and these guys were
- after him. First a motorcycle tried, but "he can't catch me." Then they
- sent a race car, but "they can't catch me." Finally, the fighter jet
- came out, but the twin turbos "kicked in", so the Turbo Z outran it and
- the bomb it dropped. The ad was filmed in a sci-fi atmosphere.
