  20. Type III was an audio tape back many years ago. It (obviously) fell between II
  21. (CrO2) and IV ('metal'), and I believe was some kind of hybrid of the two. It
  22. fell out of use some time ago, and has no individual support on today's gear.
  23. As far as I know it has nothing to do with video tape.
