- I own a JVC XL-P50 portable CD player. Although I am extremely
- satisfied with it, it unfortunately lacks a digital output-- like many of the
- reasonably priced "discmen" today. My XL-P50 has a minijack for JVC's Compu-
- Link system. Personally, I have no use for it. I was wondering how difficult,
- and how feasible, it would be to turn it into a coaxial digital output. Would
- it be a reasonably simple job like soldering a few connections or a extremely
- difficult job like adding a SPDIF chip (i.e. just buy a new discman)?? Feel
- free to mail me.
