  18. If someone merely expresses a preference, it doesn't bother me a bit. But
  19. when the statement of preference is coupled with bogus technical arguments
  20. and unjustified attacks of the other side, it is quite reasonable to want
  21. to respond.

  27. There is far more heat than light, no doubt, but I have noticed opinions
  28. becoming more moderated and better qualified (my own included). A real
  29. changing of minds can happen too, but that usuallytakes time and does not
  30. happen when anyone is looking.

  39. Many of us subscribe for many reasons, and debating about what works and
  40. what doesn't, trying to isolate the causes of perceived preferences, and
  41. working through theory vs. engineering [vs. magic ;-) ], are all important
  42. issues in the audio world as well.
