  24. don't even TRY to compare the NPTN to the EFF.  the NPTN tries to be this
  25. grassroots organization that wants to help students and john q. public get
  26. hooked into computers.   doesn't an organization that consists of a former
  27. professor and his mistress strike you as just a -little- odd?  isn't it
  28. strange that when someone requests info such a financial statement that there
  29. is no reply?   isn't it implausible that for someone who's such a guru
  30. of cybercasting (grundner's own contribution to the OED) that he can't even
  31. put together an electronic newsletter?

  34. one box systems that make Freenet I look good by comparison.

  36. that's right, i ATTACKED THE NPTN.  if you hadn't noticed, i posted my words
  37. to freenet.flame.   you have to wonder about people who take seriously what 
  38. is posted to a designated flame area.  of course what i said happens to be
  39. true.

  46. co-sysops have deserted him.

  51. they aren't ripping him to shreds.  INS is too wimpy to censure him, and 
  52. most sysops are too stupid to ignore him.  he's been helpful i'll admit, but 
  53. he's also cost one student his job for joking about his name;  he's gotten
  54. other users kicked off and has represented himself in an official capacity to
  55. internet sites outside of the university.
