  13. I am having a problem using my modem in Windows 3.1.  About 40% of the
  14. time when my modem hangs up, my system performs a cold reboot.  I have
  15. checked quite carefully and there does no seem to be an interrupt 
  16. conflict.  The problem occurs only in enhanced mode, not standard mode.
  17. It happens both using Windows Terminal and Procomm Plus for Windows.
  18. Occasionally if I've used the modem during a session and my phone later
  19. rings, the system will reboot then also.  Microsoft can not solve my
  20. problem.  My modem is a generic Hayes compatible 2400 baud model, the
  21. company that made it no longer exists (I wonder why...).  My system
  22. is a 386/33 Mhz using the AMI bios.  Any help would be appreciated.
