  13. We are considering the use of the XVT GUI portability toolkit for our next
  14. application release.  Our current product uses X and Motif directly, but we
  15. see a need to anticipate new platforms (and PCs).
  16.  
  17. I would appreciate responses (e-mail or followup postings) from those who
  18. have worked with the toolkit.
  19.  
  20. How does it compare to working with X and Motif directly?
  21.  
  22. Is it reliable? Efficient? Supported well?
  23.  
  24. I would particularly like to hear from those who have extended it (new widgets)
  25. or have intermixed native toolkit calls.
  26.
