- Summary: Does any one know the OAk VGA settings?
- Keywords: oak vga settings
-
- I have an Oak VGA with 256k, and the manual describes
- the switch settings, but it doesn't really explain
- much.
-
- It has a MDA, CGA, and EGA mode. In these modes
- is it compatible with the corresponding monitor
- in sweep frequencies, but at VGA resolution?
- That would be useful, if true.
-
- It has other modes, named after various multisync
- monitors. If they are really multisync monitors,
- it should only need one. Why, for instance, would
- they have a setting for a 16 inch multisync monitor?
- That has nothing to do with the sweep frequency.
-
- So, what are the different sweep frequencies in these
- modes?
-
- Thanks for the help. It would be nice if documentation
- told you what you really need to know.
