- I've been hoping for a Commodore "turn around" for about five years now, and
- I've finally come to the conclusion that they are just totally hopeless when it
- comes to America. I held stock up until 1991, and I dumped it. It's gone down
- ever since then.
- Unfortunately, at this point, I don't see AGA making any difference in
- America. It's just too late - there's hardware and no software. The machine
- that's priced to sell is the A1200, and there's no doubt that the bulk of low-
- end Amigas are sold to gamers; the sad part is that there are really no
- American game developers left that bother with the Amiga.
- The local Software Etc. is now down to two shelves of Amiga software -
- maybe a maximum of 20 titles. That's downright pathetic. Even the A600 that
- was on display for a couple weeks is no longer around. It's do or die time
- for Commodore. No more futzing around, no more trying to turn a profit on
- margins... it's time to sell some friggin machines so developers will start
- writing software for the machine.
