  14. Regarding my last message - Ive just registered the fact that they refer
  15. to a code in the OS ROMS.  Either this is a material inaccuracy on
  16. Acorns part or my last posting issued from the wrong part of my
  17. anatomy, sorry.

  19. Including an ID on the RISC-OS 3.1 ROMS sounds like a good idea.  I assume
  20. that the ID chips are PROMS which are then blown with a unique number, so
  21. it would sound like a good idea to produce a ROM incorporating a few
  22. bytes of PROM for holding IDs.

  24. The only snag will come if Acorn decide to produce RISC-OS 4!
