- As has been mentioned above, many schools have to buy RM machines because it
- is county policy.

- Some time back, I was curious about why a certain county that I used to live
- in chose to start buying RM when they had always had bought Acorn previously.

- The result of my investigation was quite interesting. The sudden policy change
- on computer buying was introduced after the appointment of a new IT director
- for the county. Guess who this new recruit used to work for.......RM.......
- Now, I'm not suggesting that this particular person was in any way biased
- against Acorn, but it does make you wonder.........
