- Hi dudes,
-
- I hope you don't mind some FAQs (?) from a newbie, do you? Well, I need
- some technical info about FTP, FSP, TELNET and stuff like that....
-
- 1.) What is FSP exactly? I know and have seen FTP already and been told
- that FSP is kinda similar. What are the differences? Is there a program
- "FSP.EXE" for the IBMPC, similar to the "FTP.EXE" from FTP software?
- Or, is there a public domain version?
- If not, is there atleast a UNIX version? Is is shareware anyway?
- If it *is* shareware, on which FTP site, in which subdir might I
- find it? If not, where can I find info, anyway?
-
- 2.) Our "tn.exe" (telnet) preferres to make fuss. Sometimes I can easily
- connect to an FTP site, but at the same time TN would't want to
- connect. ("Host unrechable, destination unreachable"). Strange...
- In general, TELNET seems not to want to connect as easily as FTP.
-
- Any help is greatly appreciated, E-mail answers preferred 'coz I cant
- sift through all the news everyday.
-
- Thanks
- Alex (schuetz@fm11ap01.tu-graz.ac.at)
