- as long as we are wishing...

- How about a config.sys maintance utilitiy that looks like the DOS
- settings window? Would make it easier for non-power users to adjust
- various settings. (In the past I have also suggested that a
- broader utility would manage changes apps want to make in config.sys,
- as well as read an execute install/uninstall scripts for apps.)
-
- Also: A PM-based command line interpreter. Like an xterm with scroll
- back and resizable windows. Stdin/out apps (like copy, unzip, etc) would
- appear in the window, full screen apps (like TED) would have a fresh
- window set up for them. Pull down menus would do useful things like
- command history, directory switching and searching, copy/paste, etc.
- (I realize this could probably be written by a third party, but it
- really seems like something that should be included with the OS (more
- than, say, the Tune Editor should be).)
