  19. Ed, how about using ANOTHER 16 bit VGA card and enabling its mono section 
  20. only? I notice lots of VGA cards have the Hercules mode. Now whether they 
  21. switch to 8-bit mode when they do this I don't know. Also, I suspect most 
  22. VGA cards WILL NOT co-exist with a second vga brd.  Anyone comment/tried 
  23. this idea?  Perhaps MS tech-support can help?
