  38. I compiled the following:

  41. WD driver from  becker@metropolis.super.org (Don Becker)

  43. Everything was rosy, I thought. My box died in the middle of the day ( I wasn't
  44. there, I went home for some odd reason, like hunger pangs and red eyes :). I had
  45. a NFS mount running, but today, after one more night, the problem was not
  46. repeated!

  48. Then from X I tried a command as su root and got a blank screen. Hitting return
  49. brought me back to X. Next command gave me a blank screen for a second..Then it 
  50. cleared.

  52. Today, I connected a printer to my parallel port. After printing a few things
  53. and telneting a few places, something happened:
