- According to the Dec 1992 Byte which reviews almost all of the Intel
- Versions and clones, the Cyrix 486SLC is only slighly faster than the AMD
- 386SXL of the same speed. A much better deal would be the AMD 386 40 MHz
- which (if you added the compatible math chip) by their benchmarks runs
- about the same speed as an i486/33MHz.
