Yep -- I've done this, although I have yet to do it with out being in a
drug-enhanced state. A few months ago, I'd had a couple hits of mj, and lay
down and basically began floating/meditating. I slowly "collapsed into"
myself, and essentially I recall being this tiny speck in a huge inky void!
But the void was not infinite -- it was the space inside me, and it had
bounds that were the bounds of my body. I think I was centered somewhere in
my chest (this seems reasonable, considering all the talk about the solar
plexus being the seat of "being"), and I'd say that in terms of absolute
size, we're talking atomic here, based on how far away my body bounds
seemed... Pretty fun experience, actually! --Erik
