  13. I just viewed a PBS special on a tribal warning to the industrialized public.
  14. It had a profound effect on reestablishing my pessimistic view of the 
  15. probable outcomes of human expansion in the next 60 or so years.
  16.     Current estimates place the food cosumption volumes at a maximum in
  17. sixty years from 1990.  This means that if every mouth was feed evenly,and at
  18. current growth rates, there will be just enough food for sustaining life.  Afterthe year 2050, this will not be true.  Does anyone out there have any senarios
  19. that are not so gloomy?  Help me escape my pessimistic outlook!  I know about 
  20. environmental dangers that are considered to be genecide prior to 2050, but 
  21. what about pure overpopulation estimates.
