- Please provide data showing Shuttle average payload as 56,000 lbs.
- Please note that your 'average' figure is higher than the official
- NASA 'greatest' payload. According to the NASA "1991 in Review"
- the heaviest Shuttle mission was STS-43 in August, 1991. The payload
- for this mission was approx. 46,500 lbs. (28.5 inc, 160 mile alt.)
