- Alas, the Iowas have been retired AGAIN. Grumble Grumble Grumble. What's
- worse, I fear the new Administration may announce a "Razor-Blade Gap" with
- our economic competitors (Gotta put the economy first!) and scrap them.
- Grumble Grumble Grumble. Bush & company were bad enough about scrapping
- the reserve fleet. The new guys will probably be worse.

- Supposedly, it will be a discarding sabot round. I've heard rumors of this
- for years, but before reading the article in Proceedings, I'd never heard
- anyone mention a 100 mile range! 50 miles was the most I'd ever heard of.
