  19. I know what Dr. Moon's credentials are, I've met the man, seen him
  20. present his research findings to an university audience, and I've
  21. read two of his papers.  Nothing I've seen substantiates that Professor
  22. Moon is a "crank".  To successfully publish in medical journals like
  23. ATHEROSCLEROSIS, JOURNAL OF THE AMERCIAN COLLEGE OF NUTRITION, CANADIAN
  24. MEDICAL REVIEW, etc., is not something that a mere "crank" can likely
  25. achieve.  It is one thing to debunk an article published in, say,
  26. a disreputable "pop" magazine like the EASTWEST JOURNAL OF HOLISTIC HEALTH, 
  27. it is quite another to vilify an accomplished researcher and published 
  28. expert on calciferol.

  30. Instead, we are asked to take Mr. Dyer's word for it that
  31. Professor Moon is a crank.  Ok, then in that case I would like know what
  32. Mr. Dyer's credentials are.  Does he have a PhD from accredited 
  33. university?  Has he any publications?  Has even a graduate degree of
  34. any kind?

  36. Second, no rebuttal of my "interpretation" occurred since at that time
  37. no one had even read the study except for myself.  Instead, all that
  38. I saw were the mere quibbles about terms and vilification of a
  39. an accomplished researcher and professor of toxicology/nutrition teaching
  40. at a major Canadian University.  Hardly a very credible "refutation".
