  19. I disagree that you made a mistake in any way.  "Merry Christmas" and 
  20. "Happy Hanukkah" are perfectly acceptable sentiments to wish upon the
  21. world at this time of year, and people who object to them have problems
  22. sufficient unto themselves.  There are many things to take issue with at
  23. this time of year, and I am one of the more vocal to do so, but someone
  24. wishing others well, in whatever form, is not one of them.

  26. My previous posting on this matter was intended to be a sarcastic rejoinder
  27. to the original flame, and was no doubt misunderstood by some (that's a 
  28. given in newsgroup postings).
