- The guys name is Paul Mindich(sp?). He lives right here in NJ. He also makes
- or used to make a line of boards called Airborne. Now he calls them PCM
- boards (his initials). He has a few followers that use his boards. They are
- usually found at seaside, trixies and long beach island.
-
- I don't care much for his boards or his personality. I find him very
- arrogant and rude at times. Before cutting the contract with Fiberspar he
- was or seemed to be in dire straits (money wise). I'm sure he'll make a
- pretty penny now. The lawyer that drew the contract is a fellow sailor.
- Paul gave him a Fiberspar mast, boom and a sailworks (or was it North) sail
- as payment.
-
- I haven't ice sailed yet but around here its pretty big stuff. There is a
- network similar to the windhotline that you call to find where the ice is.
- There are also a few race series held throughout the NE.
-
- Good luck to Paul and those who decide to try ice sailing. I hear you can
- hit 50 knots easily with a 4.0 sail in 15 knots! Its also a good way to get
- killed! Helmets and pads are a must.
