  16. I hope not, but it doesn't seem to be moving very fast.  An interesting
  17. point is that this fall, Radio Shack started carrying a S-VHS VCR.

  19. You still can't buy a S-video cable there, but having a SVHS VCR means
  20. one of two things:  either they think it is safe enough a bet to
  21. invest in stocking it in 7000+ stores, or they got them cheap because
  22. the market died and the manufacturers we giving them away.   It is in
  23. the catalog.

  25. I also note that they now are selling SVHS "Supertape".  No, I haven't
  26. tried it.  My heads are too valuable for that type of experimentation.  :-(
