  13.     I think experience can be concieved as the accumulation of skills.
  14. As was noted before, you cannot put a line and say - from here you're
  15. experienced. But, considering diving (as the issue IS here), I think you 
  16. can say that an experienced diver is the one who knows HIS OWN limits. On
  17. the basic courses, you learn the general limits. A newly certified diver
  18. will stay whithin the limits (if he does), because these are the limits he
  19. was taught, and he partially knows why. A more experienced diver is the one
  20. who UNDERSTAND the limits (and maybe knows what stands beyond them, theor-
  21. etically, as taught in highr courses, or from personal expeience), and can 
  22. refine the general and global limits, to meet his own capabillities. There
  23. are many divers, who ignore the rules, because they think that if nothing
  24. happend in 10 unsafe dives, nothing will happen in the 11th one. This is
  25. exactly the OPPOSITE of what I mean. These divers are usually the worst
  26. divers, because they don't UNDERSTAND what they are doing, and I wouldn't 
  27. take them as a buddy.

  29.     Considering youself an exprienced diver is dependant on how you 
  30. define EXPERIENCED, but (I think) this is something that comes both with 
  31. time and with the people around you considering you as an experienced diver.
